I started in beta 1.5. This does look cool, but ultimately you're just taking a bunch of modern mods and putting them into a mod for beta Minecraft. I'd rather just play a newer more stable version of Minecraft honestly. I might try this out someday. I understand wanting to maintain a lot of the older aspects of Minecraft I certainly do with certain texture packs, But I feel like it might be easier to just mod those older aspects into a new version of Minecraft. Best of both worlds.

after playing modern post adventure update minecraft all my life, and then trying this. i can confidently say without a doubt.. it's better like so much better this isn't even a competition it's so much better by a landslide like oh my god how did they make this feel more like minecraft than the minecraft i've played all my life

I’ve always wanted this idea for food. Not too much in a stack (like you have it as 16) and that it works with having that much food, as shown here it slowly heals. It’s perfect imo

I love the big trees. I wish we had that in vanilla Minecraft. Maybe you could make them generate big roots. When the trees generate above ground, then those roots would make that look good actually.

Great livestream, definitely do more of these! I agree with the food mechanic and the point that you make about the relation between inventory management and effectiveness of beta food is very valid. I agree that food should stack, but don't you think that 16 per stack of porkchops is a bit too much? Maybe stack size should decrease with the increase in hearts that the food provides. For example foods that provide more than X amount of Y Hearts, should have a Z amount of stacks.
